Christmas Robes

I made the girls robes for Christmas.  I made one for my mom too.  It was definitely the robe Christmas.  I've made the girls nightgowns twice and robes once before this year.  The girls asked me a few months ago if I was going to make pajamas this year for Christmas.  I said, "Yea, sure, that would be fun."  Then they asked if I could make them robes instead.  I agreed, and ever since it's been the joke that I'm sewing mysterious gifts for people they don't know.  Eventually, as the robes were not under the tree, the girls began to panic and would ask, daily, is my robe under the tree yet?  Very cute.  I loved that they were so excited for them.  They could hardly wait to open them, even though Santa brought much more "exciting" gifts, my Christmas robes have been worn and treasured each day since Christmas.

  2. YIkes if it's even possible, Aliese looks EVEN OLDER than the last time I saw her!!!!!!!!! Such a beautiful young woman. I LOVE THE ROBES! They are so cute! They look darling in them! You make me want to make one! Mom loved hers and she looked really cute in it. You did such a good job. Such cute sweet girls. SO- Mike is going to be out of town this Tues-Fri and the next week Mon-Fri! YIKES! He is doing some training for his job. So- I thought maybe you would all like to visit? I could go there, I just don't know where i would sleep? and then there's Maddie? So i thought maybe it'd be easier if you just came here. It won't hurt my feelings if you can't make it, just wanted to invite you. I'd love it. Especially since I can't seem to talk on teh phone at all anymore, it's just been too hard for me to find the time. I will warn you though- maddie has a cold right now. So if you're concerned about catching it I understand. She has a stuffy nose. It is so sad. love you!
